Im also really curious because awhile back I got pretty snippy myself and yet the word 'banned' was never raised. I had taken a bit of a break because of mid-terms and some family crisis and when I came back I was already a bit touchy to say the least. I had missed out on the i-can bracelets and simply asked someone to pm me about what was going on. I got a very short and snippy reply from a mod about mentioning it and the thread was locked. I then started a thread dissing them and the rules basically. I was really annoyed because I had explicitly asked for the info to be talked about privately but apparantly that in itself was too public. Which I still strongly disagree with. I cant remember now which one it was but obviously they shut that thread down too. We negotiated it through email for the rest of the night and that was it. I did threaten to leave if I remember correctly. The rules do get annoying as I think the mods sort of 'wing it' because it is privately run. But Ill deal with it as there are people there that I really enjoy talking to.

Just out of curiosity, how do you negociate stuff with the mods? If you don't want to say, it's okay, I probably shouldn't even ask but I'm nosy...

Umm...we just emailed each other back and forth. I explained my point of view and they explained theirs. I apologized and it was very nice and civil. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Oh well thats good. I am glad you can come back oto the other board too. I like this one a lot too though so I hope you won't quit this board once you can go on the other one. You won't, will you? This board is so interesting because we can say what we want. I like the other one too but we can't always say what we want over there. Thats why this one is ncie too. Plus its good we haven't really had "fights" here, on the other one when people say what they want, we alwyas have fights. Here, fo the most part, nobody's really said anything rel bad or anything. Its nice.

[img]smile.gif[/img] You are right about the fact that we haven't had any real fights here other than civilized debates, which is good. Conversation is a way to learn. [img]smile.gif[/img] I think people realize that the only way for this board to work is for us to act like civilized, mature people. Everyone is doing a great job of that so far. So... please keep posting, and if you can think of new topics, please do, because I do not necessarily have any good ones right now.
